Les Maîtres Laitiers Group

Thomas Marko & Associés make the voice of Maîtres Laitiers heard at the Salon International de l'Agriculture

Following a consultation process, Thomas Marko & Associés was chosen by the Les Maîtres Laitiers group to help it define and manage its influence strategy for its first appearance at the Salon International de l'Agriculture (Paris, Porte de Versailles, February 21 to March 1, 2026). This marks a milestone in the history of the Group, which has chosen this emblematic event for the first time to give a voice to its integrated cooperative model and affirm its commitment to French food sovereignty.

A cooperative model for food sovereignty

With this first participation, Les Maîtres Laitiers, the group founded by the independent Normandy cooperative "Les Maîtres Laitiers du Cotentin", is making its debut at a major event in the world of agriculture and agri-food. Born forty years ago from the desire of dairy producers to collectively control their future, the integrated cooperative group is now deployed on a national scale. Taking the floor at the Salon International de l'Agriculture marks a key step in the group's trajectory, and in its efforts to fully assume its place within the French agricultural and agri-food ecosystem.

Through this presence, Les Maîtres Laitiers affirms the uniqueness of its cooperative governance. Entirely owned by its cooperative producers, the group is based on a fundamental democratic principle: one cooperator, one vote, guaranteeing its independence, the stability of its orientations and the primacy given to people. The Show is therefore a key opportunity to explain a long-term model based on collective responsibility, transmission and control of strategic choices.

The Maîtres Laitiers integrated model, from farm to fork, brings together producers, processors and distributors within a single organization. By controlling the entire value chain, the group takes concrete action to secure supplies, guarantee product quality and contribute to the solidity of French industries. This organization is the cornerstone of the Group's commitment to French food sovereignty, against a backdrop of economic, climatic and geopolitical tensions.

Against this backdrop, Thomas Marko & Associés is working with the Group to structure this first media launch, so as to convey clearly and legibly to the national and specialist media the foundations of this independent cooperative model and the commitments that flow from it.
