New governance
Thomas Marko leaves, Kevin Berenguer promoted to Deputy General Manager
After almost 40 years with the agency he founded, Thomas Marko, 63, has decided to step down at the end of this year. Raphaël Zerbib, Chairman of Venise Group and Thomas Marko & Associés, has appointed Kevin Berenguer, 32, Deputy Managing Director in charge of strategy, development and sales. He will take up his post on January 5, 2026, as part of a tandem governance structure with Florence Joulin-Cardiet, 57, long-serving Managing Director in charge of operational management.
Thomas Marko is also stepping down as Director of the Syndicat du Conseil en Relations Publics (SCRP).
"When you're an entrepreneur with no other experience, which is my case, it's not easy to plan your succession. I'm very happy and proud that Kevin is taking over the adventure, and that Raphaël has recognized his full potential. Kevin joined the company nearly 8 years ago, and has had an exemplary career. He knows the culture of boldness, creativity, rigor and commitment. He's also a fine person, much appreciated by our customers and our teams."stresses Thomas Marko.
"This change in governance comes to give new energy to the service of customers and teams by relying on a new generation embodied by Kevin. He brings a lucid and demanding view of the new challenges facing the business: transforming uses, the rise of digital and AI, the quest for meaning and responsibility in a highly uncertain economic and political world. More than ever, our customers need advice and support to preserve their freedom to operate and maximize their impact," adds Raphaël Zerbib.
New impetus for the agency
Kevin Berenguer joined the agency in 2018, rising through the ranks to become Consulting Director in charge of the Brands & Products division, with regular forays into corporate issues. He has worked with reference customers from all sectors, including Monoprix, Sanofi/Opella, Groupe But-Conforama, Mondial Tissus, Brasseries Kronenbourg (Carlsberg), Interfel, Fondation Action Enfance, Parc Astérix (Compagnie des Alpes), Alpine Collection and the Vienna Tourist Office (Austria). It will remain committed to historical and emblematic customers.
Kevin's approach is based on simplicity, proximity and creativity. "This triptych will continue to guide us as we reinvent tomorrow's agency and enable our customers to emerge in an information-saturated landscape." He adds: "With us, we focus above all on agility and human relations. Building a real bond of trust means fostering our ability to create value for our partners. That's why they come to us... and why they stay!
Thomas Marko & Associés will remain faithful to promoting and defending the cause of each of its clients, to its independent and disruptive model, to its dual corporate and lifestyle skills, to its presence in France through its network of partners and to its desire for international deployment with the IPREX network, which the agency represents in France. It will continue to work towards exemplary and transparent practices, particularly in the fields of CSR and Responsible Influence.
